My Mini Vacation to St. Louis

This week my mom had a meeting for work in St. Louis and dad and I went along and had a mini vacation. Poor mom she had to work a lot, but she spent some time with us in the evenings. Here are some pictures of the fun dad and I had!

On Sunday we went to the Nascar Speedway and drove the Go carts like 6 times, and the bumper boats, and played laser tag, and rode some rides and I even climbed a climbing wall. Mom did not like driving the cars so she took our pictures.

Dad and I did a lot of swimming at the hotel. We went and had lunch with our old friend Michelle. She has known me since I was a baby and was the one who introduced me to my dad when I was 2. She is real cool and drives a big truck!

Dad and I also went and saw a movie = The Fantastic Four - The Rise of the Silver Surfer. We both really liked the movie. I then went to Toys R Us and bought some cool Fantastic Four action figures and a couple of DVDs. My dad only let me buy two DVDs though.
On our last day we went and rode the subway called the Metrolink. It was fun! Here I am riding the Metrolink over the Mississippi River.

My dad and I had a great time hanging out and doing stuff together.

I even went all the way to Illinois on the Metrolink. Here I am under the Gateway Arch from Illinois side of the river. It was fun!

MOM UNDEFEATED AT JELLO EATING CONTEST

Tonight we had an unexpected event in our house. My mom and I had a jello eating contest. I can't believe she agreed to do it. See the plates of jello below???

Mom and I are discussing the rules. No hands except to touch the plate. No utensils. Cannot pick the plate up off the table. Plate has to be spotless.
Here I am going for the gold!

You know my mom - she laughs at everything!

And the race is on.......................
I think she is in the lead.......

My mom sure knows how to lick her jello.

It is a close race - who is going to win.
Ok I give up - mom wins. I can't believe she won! Maybe next time.

Summer Fun

So far summer is going well. I go to Kids Unlimited everyday and I love it there. We play, watch movies, eat, go on field trips, and learn about different places all over the world as our theme this summer is around the world in 80 days.

Well this past weekend our airconditioner was not working right so we spent the nights sleeping the basement. Mom on a trundle bed, dad on the top part of the day bed, and me under neath dad on the floor with a bunch of blankets. It is fun doing this - almost like camping out.

On Father's day Sunday we went to the pool with our friends and had a great time. I love to swim and slide on all the slides.
Here I am with my good friend RaShaun and Jessica - we hang out with them and their mom a lot. I love going to there house when my parents have to go somewhere. Ms. Adele is so nice.

I think I look great in these goggles!
Here I am attempting a dangerous stunt at the pool. It is hard work but it gives me a chance to show off my muscles.

Here I am coming down one of the slides. It is always fun~

I am practicing my "Please" puppy dog face for when I need it next.

You like my new doo!
Mom bought me this cool new slide and pool for the back yard. It is fun when I have someone to play on it with. This is me and RaShaun trying it out on Memorial Day.

I found a turtle one day and named him Yurtle! I think he got away.

This summer we have already been to Springfield once and I got to spend some time with good friend Lucas and some more time with my Gramma and Pappa. They took me out to dinner and to play miniature golf and I won! I think??
Next week we are going to St. Louis for a few days. We are going to go see some friends and family and I think my dad is going to let him and I ride home on the train. Woo Hoo

My Dad Got Married

Yep my prayers were finally answered. I prayed for a mom for a long time and here she is! Woo Hoo

I had to wear this monkey suit entirely too long. But I did it for my dad.
Here is Pappa trying to get me ready to go - all I really wanted to do was play my gameboy.
I am not liking this tuxedo thing!
I look pretty good though!
Gramma was keeping an eye on me at the reception.
Here I am waiting for my dad and mom to get to the reception - this bubble thing was kind of fun.
I had a good time that weekend catching up with my old cousins Emily and Matt
And having fun with new cousins Kris
and Dylan too
Liking the shades!

Here is the sign I made for my mom and dad when they finally got home from their honemoon. I did not think they were ever going to get home.

My First Blog Entry

Hello my name is Courtney and I am cute, good, obedient and nice to everybody in the whole entire world. Even to my school bullies I am nice to them.

This picture is of me playing baseball. And I hit a grandslam - but the coach said I had to stay at 3rd base even though I wanted to go all the way back to home. All my teammates would have been glad at me for hitting a grandslam right over the fence. I hit that dang ball hard with somebody else's bats. I dont' know which team mate, but I think it was a big one. You might can see him in the back of me by the guy with yellow hair.

I have asked my dad to say a few things about me:

As Courtney's father - I would say he is very "Smart" - "Funny" - "Caring" - "Handsome" and "resourceful".

Grandma and Pappa and Julie are very nice to me and like to give me lots of presents at Christmas. Julie has been to one Christmas with our family.
